Reggiana Sacks Davide Dionigi, Appoints Lorenzo Rubinacci
Reggiana Football Club has announced the dismissal of head coach Davide Dionigi following the team's defeat to Catanzaro. This loss saw the team drop into the relegation playoff zone, prompting the management to make an immediate change to the technical staff.
The decision to sack Dionigi came after Reggiana managed to secure only four points in their last ten matches under his leadership, significantly impacting the team's standing in the league table.
In response, the club has appointed Lorenzo Rubinacci as the new coach until the end of the current season, tasking him with the mission of saving the team from relegation. Rubinacci has previous experience with Reggiana, having worked at the club during the 2023-2024 season.
Massimo Lo Monaco will take on the role of assistant coach, while Simone Greco joins as a technical collaborator, and Paolo Artico as the fitness coach, completing the new technical staff.
