Endrick Joins Lyon on Loan from Real Madrid
Nineteen-year-old forward Endrick is set to join French club Olympique Lyon on loan from Spanish giants Real Madrid, effective January 1, following limited playing time in Spain.
The Brazilian striker boasts a history of decisive moments, including scoring two goals in Palmeiras' thrilling 4-3 victory over Botafogo on November 2, 2023. On December 7, 2023, he netted the opening goal against Cruzeiro, securing the Brasileirão title for Palmeiras.
Endrick also scored his first goal for the Brazilian national team on March 23, 2024, during a 1-0 friendly win over England at Wembley Stadium. He further contributed a crucial header in Palmeiras' 3-2 Copa Libertadores victory against Independiente del Valle on April 25, 2024, and the 96th-minute winning goal for Brazil against Mexico (3-2) on June 9, 2024.
Most recently, on February 26, 2025, he scored Real Madrid's only goal in their 1-0 win over Real Sociedad in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, and also found the net in the return leg.
