The 2025 season has seen French forward Kylian Mbappé shine brightly for Real Madrid, where he has equaled a previous record held by star Cristiano Ronaldo. Mbappé reached 59 goals in a single calendar year for Real Madrid, matching Ronaldo's tally from 2013, achieved with his latest goal against Sevilla.
Across Europe, Mbappé topped the scoring charts in 2025, netting 66 goals for his club and national team. He surpassed Harry Kane, who scored 60 goals, and Erling Haaland, who registered 57 goals.
Mbappé has been a significant contributor to Real Madrid's goals, scoring 18 of the team's 36 goals in La Liga and 9 of their 13 goals in the UEFA Champions League.
Regarding discussions about "over-reliance on Mbappé," the player told Radio Marca, “I think that's nonsense. But I don't want to disrespect you; I'd say it's a bad question. Everyone has their job in the team, and my job is to score goals.”
