Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga launched a football academy and school in Luanda, the capital of Angola and his birthplace, during the Christmas holidays.
The 23-year-old player initiated this project alongside his parents, meeting with the Ministry of Youth and Sports to finalize the plans. The initiative received support from State Secretary Paulo Madeira.
The French international expressed his happiness with this achievement, stating: “I chose to create a football academy and a school for young people here to give back to my country what it gave me. This fills me with joy. My parents are very proud. I am also very happy to return to my country and have the opportunity to contribute to its development.”
